Kayle
Dental Assistant
Kayle is one of our dedicated dental assistants who started in 2022. She is passionate about helping patients and restoring their confidence through dental care. Kayle is committed to providing exceptional patient care and finds it very fulfilling to be able to contribute to the creation of new smiles. Kayle is the proud owner of two adorable dachshunds, Winnie and Winston. Outside of the office, she enjoys shopping, cooking, and bowling. She recently became engaged to be married and is excited about this new chapter in her life.
Lori
Dental Assistant
The desire to learn the process of removable prosthodontics is what first brought Lori to Georgia Denture and Implant Specialists. The patients, family atmosphere and amazing doctors are why she has stayed. Originally from New Jersey, Lori eventually moved to Florida and received her dental assisting education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Her gentle nature makes her a favorite with patients and her fellow team members. Lori brings more than 16 years of general dentistry experience in office management and dental assisting to her role. In her down time she enjoys going to her son’s basketball game with his church team. She cherishes the opportunity to work with the knowledgeable prosthodontic specialists and such a close-knit team of professionals.
Cindy
Dental Assistant
Cindy is another one of our highly skilled dental assistants with 45 years in the dental industry. She was 17 and unsure as to what she wanted to do with her life. At the time, she was living with her dad on MacDill Airforce Base in Tampa, FL. Her dad heavily influenced her to start dental assisting on the base and it was love at first sight. Cindy has been with Georgia Denture & Implant Specialists since 2022 and when she is not working, she enjoys camping, hiking, swimming, going to concerts, and more importantly, she likes to spend time with her kids and grandkids.
Tosha
Dental Assistant
Tosha is one of our very knowledgeable dental assistants and has been with Georgia Dentures and Implant Specialists for three years. She became interested in dentistry after getting braces and seeing the impact that beautiful teeth can have on one’s appearance. Her favorite part of her job is seeing people regain their confidence and quality of life. She also enjoys being hands-on and working in the lab. Tosha resides in Jasper which is also her hometown. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her daughter and husband. They like to go to races, listen to music, and always try to find something exciting to get into on the weekends.
Shirnette
Dental Assistant
After you hear the lovely way she pronounces your name, you will not be surprised to learn that the co-manager as well as the senior dental assistant, Shirnette, is from Jamaica. Shirnette was originally interested in nursing but later changed her studies to dentistry. She has been at Georgia Dentures & Implant Specialists for 24 + years and always strives for the best for her patients and colleagues. When she is not working Shirnette enjoys spending her time with her husband, daughter, son, and grand-pups. She loves attending church where she sings in the choir. She also is an Atlanta Falcons fan. She also wants to brag a little bit about the three amazing doctors that she works for. “Dr. Warren Berne sets the bar so high. He is very patient and understanding. Dr. Anderson is very laid-back, nonchalant, wise, and just awesome. Dr. Yoon must also be a comedian, at least he is my comedian. He keeps me in stitches as we go about our day.”
Jackie
Dental Assistant
Jackie is a dental assistant and has experience in all fields. She has been in dentistry since 2007. Her goal when working with a patient is to always build a relationship. She starts by always being ready to answer any questions they may have regarding any aspect of their treatment. She is so proud to be part of such a proud and dedicated office. She is a New Orleans native. During her time off, she loves to spend time with her husband and three daughters.
Tricia
Dental Assistant
Tricia has been another great addition to our team and became a part of the GDIS family in 2019. She was born in Florida and raised in metro Atlanta, more specifically, the Dunwoody area. Once she graduated from Sprayberry High School, she decided to get her certification as a dental assistant. Tricia loves working in the dental field because she loves helping people and how happy patients are when they leave our office with the smile they always wanted. In her time off, Tricia enjoys playing with her kids and being outside by the lake, hiking or going for walks.
