With complete dentures, both the teeth and the gum tissues are replaced in order to create an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The gum tissue is created to be as close to the color of the other existing tissues within the mouth so that the dentures do not look out of place. The crowns of the teeth are also created to look very realistic.
